SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The Chief Program Officer has primary oversight responsibility for the clinical program services functions of Child and Family Service. These functions include identification of new and continuing program opportunities, coordination of proposal and grant process, implementation of new program models, maintenance of quality services, adherence with contract requirements, and monitoring of program performance measures. The Chief Program Officer exercises all normal supervisory functions for the Directors of all Island Programs, the Grant and Proposals writers, The Director of Properties and Clinical Director.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Program Officer is a part of the senior management team charged with the overall management of the organization. The Chief Program Officer provides advice to the President & CEO on program issues and carries out the decisions of the Executive Leadership Team. The Chief Program Officer attends CFS Board of Directors meetings.
As determined by the President & CEO, the Chief Program Officer represents CFS at selected Boards, Committees, and Task Forces.
